My approach
I am an evidence based naturopathic doctor who practices in Vancouver both virtually and in person. I spend countless hours trying to keep up with the endless knowledge so that I can support my patients in the best way possible.
I have a small obsession with all things skin. Skin care products in particular & all things anti aging. I love understanding what ingredients do what & which products have the biggest impact on skin! I have histamine intolerance, so I have gone down the rabbit hole in the reserach, so this is an area I love to teach others about. Genetic analysis is a vast area of medicine that is still in it’s early stages, but the specific guidance it can give a patient in terms of explaining their health & the specific tools to shift health have been so fascinating & rewarding as a self proclaimed academic nerd.
I want my patients to feel heard, understood & leave feeling hopeful. My intention is to educate as to the cause of your symptoms, and then to explain why we’re changing your diet, or taking a supplement/herb or medication. Or why we’re needing to send you off to the lab to get further information.
I aim to have a minimal approach which will have the greatest impact on your health. Sometimes, in the short term, the list is long, but over time, the goal is to have you on an effective plan that will be preventative & help you achieve health longevity.
Things change over time. Your health, your goals, what you’re willing to do, what you’re able to do/not do. I’m hear to listen to these wants/needs, explain what your treatment options are, & help you come up with a plan that you’re realistically going to be able to follow.

Robin received her Master of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Saskatchewan in 2011. Since graduation, Robin has worked extensively in private practice. After moving to Halifax in 2014, she joined an innovative interdisciplinary clinic which sought to empower and improve patients’ quality of life through collaborative integrated care. This experience transformed her understanding of healthcare and the role physiotherapists can play in holistic preventative care.
She has extensive post-graduate training and experience in the areas of orthopaedics and chronic pain. She obtained her certification in Anatomy Trains Structural Integration through Tom Myer’s school in 2013. In 2018, she completed New Zealand’s Bradcliff Method certification for assessment and treatment of breathing pattern dysfunctions. Most recently she studied the Integrated Systems Model approach with Diane Lee here in BC, which teaches an effective framework for whole body assessment and integrated treatment.
Preceding her life as a physiotherapist, Robin explored movement through the related worlds of dance and somatics. She dipped and dabbled in methods such as Feldenkrais, Itcush, Body Mind Centering, Franklin, Anti-gymnastique, etc. However, in 2007, she met her teacher Diane Long and became a devoted student of yoga in the lineage of Vanda Scaravelli. All searching ceased on this day. Robin continues to practice and teach this yoga all around the world. Indeed, it is within her own simple daily practice where her understanding of movement and healing is most deeply informed and experienced.
Robin enjoys treating all types of patients and injuries, from the senior who wants to maintain her independence after a stroke, to the high level athlete who wants to figure out why his breath isn’t as full and efficient as he needs it to be, and is passionate about helping her patients feel and move better for long term health and well being. She moved to Vancouver in early 2020, became a mother in 2021, and looks forward to serving you as a member of the healthcare team at Mint Integrative.
